Providing personalized home healthcare services that
promote independence and well-being.
Birth has been a central theme in my life since my early days on a farm, where witnessing the natural birthing process of animals taught me to view birth as a beautiful, innate event. This profound belief—that babies instinctively know how to be born and seek nourishment from their mothers—has been a guiding principle in my life. My journey has led me to embrace a large family of my own, including 12 children and witnessing the births of many of my 19 grandchildren, across a spectrum of settings from birthing centers to home and hospital births. These personal experiences have enriched my compassion and understanding, allowing me to deeply connect with and support other mothers in their unique birthing experiences.
For nearly three decades, I have supported women through pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and breastfeeding, naturally stepping into the role of a doula and later becoming a licensed midwife. My education, culminating in licensure by the Medical Board of California in 2016, and my experiences working with dedicated professionals like Dr. Anne Marie Adams, have significantly contributed to my skills and knowledge. Having attended over 300 births, I am committed to continuing the tradition of midwifery, offering personalized support that empowers women in the Sacramento area as they navigate their own birth stories.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my family outdoors, exploring interests such as cooking, essential oils, and writing, all while enjoying the warmth of the sun and the joy of laughter.
